Judy Garland stars in the role that we all remember. Attendees will thrill to talking trees, a scary twister, beautiful technicolor, evil and good witches, unforgettable music, memorable characters, the wonderful wizard himself and, of course, flying monkeys! They will learn the back story of how this classic was filmed and then enjoy a selected film highlights. After the screening, they learn some of the “tricks of the trade” that were used to make the greatest fantasy film of all time, how the film was cast and why the sepia toned Kansas storyline was added to the beginning and end of the film. A charming and timeless film, it still warms everyone’s heart to this day! Not to be missed! Soundtrack music accompanies a book and memorabilia display.
