"Charlie Chaplin - the world's first superstar" - Zoom presentation - Open to the public - Frick Estate Lecture Series - Registration required - See below for registration details

  • Nassau County, NY (map)

Enjoy this presentation form the comfort of your own home! Learn about the world’s most famous and recognizable comedian’s rise from the depths of poverty in England to world wide renown with his character of “The Little Tramp” and his self imposed exile to Switzerland. Some of his personal tragedies and career decline could easily have been avoided, but his stamp on comedy still makes its impact today. Whether he was pulling at your heart strings or going for laughs, Chaplin was indeed the “King”! Charlie still influences comedy today and you will experience some of “The Tramp’s” most entertaining work with this lecture.

You can register by simply using the website (www.thefrickestatelectures.org) or calling the lecture office at 516-415-1101 and leaving a message – they will get right back to you and register you by credit card.  Checks are also accepted but may be delayed at their P.O. Box in Greenvale, so if you do use the postal mail, either email admin@thefrickestatelectures.org or call their phone number to let them know you would like to attend.
