The world’s most famous comedy team will be covered from their humble beginnings, to their teaming on screen and later, the sad end to their prolific careers and their final tours of the British Isles. This is the comedy team that all other teams aspire to be! Attendees may be surprised to learn who was the driving force behind their on screen magic. They will learn about Stan and Babe’s lives and careers and, as I am co-Sheik (President) of the Long Island Chapter of the “Sons of the Desert”, will also show attendees about the organization that honors them as well. Together, “The Boys” made over one hundred films and in this program, they will screen some of their most famous comedy short subjects and highlights and experience why Laurel and Hardy still make people laugh for almost one hundred years. A truly unique presentation with a large memorabilia (including rare World War 2 newspapers), book, Laurel and Hardy music and autograph display is included.
