Along the way, she received a few breaks but mainly succeeded due to her unfailing positive attitude and her faith in her own abilities. She eventually succeeded on Broadway and in television specials before breaking television barriers by hosting a comedy / variety show for eleven years on prime time network television - a feat that no female has accomplished before or since. Working with an unbeatable supporting cast, she has become a television and comedy legend. With this presentation, attendees will learn about her start in television, Broadway successes, her loss of a child and her film career in this comprehensive telling of her life.
