Come to the lecture and learn how to get involved with the MWI to help your local community and to see the comedian’s comedian and star of Vaudeville, film, radio and television, Jack Benny was loved by millions. Jack could get more laughs with silence than most comedians get with ten rapid fire jokes. You’ll see why with some classic Jack Benny television episodes in this original lecture and also watch Jack spread the laughs out among the cast, something rare for most comedians. You will see him rise from his humble Jewish Orthodox beginnings to reach the height of television popularity. Was he really cheap, vain, self-centered, a lousy violinist and only thirty nine years old for forty years? Of course not, but he played the part so well that people thought all those personality traits were true! And that is why he was so well loved. He made fun of himself and made you laugh while he did it. Selected television highlights will be screened. Soundtrack music as well as a book, autograph and memorabilia display are included with the ORIGINAL Long Island presentation. Don’t miss it!
