This is it! Celebrate the fifty year anniversary of the film that coined the expression “The Summer Blockbuster” and made Director Steven Spielberg a legend. Attendees will learn of the trials and tribulations of actually filming a sea based film at sea instead of a studio tank. They will also discover why the great and thrilling filming was not quite planned the way the finished product appears on the screen. With real and gritty characters, white knuckle suspense, a real life monster, blood, gore and theme music that still haunts you after all these years, this is a film that looks like it was made yesterday. Attendees will experience frightening film highlights again after the original Long Island Power Point lecture. A thrilling and exciting morning with this breakthrough presentation is in store. And, please, don’t blame me if you think twice before swimming at the beach this summer! You have been warned! Original soundtrack music and a book and memorabilia display, including the original movie one sheet poster and rare lobby cards, is included.
