The Christmas classic returns to the Glen Cove Library! Attendees will see rare behind the scenes photographs, learn about the making of the film, hear some stories about the wonderful cast of actors and discover why Jimmy Stewart’s performance, his first upon returning home from World War Two, was so powerful on the screen. Unlike most Christmas films, this film, at times, has a dark and brooding edge to it before you revel in the greatest happy ending of all time. After the Power Point presentation, attendees will screen film highlights and be filled with not only the joy of the holiday season, but also hope for mankind. Guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes. Period holiday music along with a memorabilia, autograph and book display are included. For more information, please contact the Glen Cove Public Library at (516) 676-2130
